Here, I wanted to thank the man who, through his music, made me smile, cry and shiver the most. I listen to him almost all the time, over and over again, I go through his gigantic filmography, and I start again. I love film music, I love John Williams, Danny Elfman, and all those giants, but Zimmer is the one. Whether it's epic, romantic, sad or dark themes... his work manages to break my heart almost every time.
Seeing him in person in Nice at HansZimmerLive was unforgettable. Thank you Hans Zimmer. For your sensitivity, and for the amazing team that you gathered (Tina Guo and her fiery cello, Loire Cotler, Lisa Gerrard and Lebo M for their iconic voices, Pedro Eustache for his magic flutes, Guthrie Govan and his exhilarating solos, and all the rest of the team that I love). Thank you !
